Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported about Ulka Gupta being part of a celebrity episode of Life OK’s Savdhan India wherein she will play the role of an athlete and bust the cunning and cheap ideologies of the coach.
We now hear that actress Khushboo Kamal, who was recently seen in the movie Kick, will play an integral role in the episode. Her character of Amrita will be similar to that of Shilpa Shukla’s in the movie Chak De wherein the girl would be a frustrated soul, as after putting five long years into the sports career, she would not have gained success. When she would see the very talented Alka, played by Ulka Gupta appear into the sporting scene, she would totally dislike the girl.
However, as the story would progress, Alka will realize that the coach RJ (Vineet Sharma) aspires to get physical with her. When Alka would start rebelling, she would get punished by the coach. This will be when the aggressive yet frustrated Amrita will get inspired by Alka’s fight back, and will support her in exposing the coach’s real face.
When contacted, Khushboo told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I will be seen in the Savdhan episode with Ulka Gupta. Mine is a strong character who would help the central character to stage her fight back.”
Khushboo has earlier been part of Sahara One’s Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage. She has also played the cameo of the Maharani of Chittor in Maharana Pratap.
This particular story is produced by Saregama Productions, and has been shot in Delhi.
The episodic is slated to air in the first week of November (2014).
