Lalit Bisht is today a happy man after being roped in to play a Senior Inspector in Fireworks Productions’ popular show Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath on Life OK. However, not many know that he has been second time lucky in bagging a role with the noted production house. Yes, Lalit who is a model from Delhi was almost finalized to play the lead role in B P Singh’s upcoming cop-based show on Star Plus. However, destiny had something else in store for him. A source states, “The actor was a find, personally hand-picked by the Producer B P Singh for the Star Plus show. He was almost finalized, and had almost bagged the lead role in the show. But at the last minute, things did not materialize. The production house did not want to lose out on a find like him. Hence, B P Singh shifted him to their other popular show on Life OK, Shapath.” When contacted, Lalit told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it is true that I almost had the Star Plus show in my hand. However, things did not work out and I was very disappointed at that particular time. But I am glad that such a respected and senior person like B P sir stood by me and saw to it that I bagged a good role. He pushed me into the role in Shapath. Now that I have been shooting for Shapath for the past two days, I am grateful to him and the entire team of Fireworks.” According to Lalit, acting is in his blood as his father has been part of cultural theatre before. However, Lalit had been working in the corporate world for over 8 years before destiny pushed him into the modelling world. The young lad has been part of Zoom’s reality show, Fashion Drill. However, Shapath is his first big project. When contacted, Producer B P Singh accepted the fact and said, “Yes, Lalit is a very good find. He was almost through to playing the lead in our other new show on Star Plus. But for certain reasons, when it did not work out I shifted him to Shapath.” Lalit, may you do well as an actor!!
