He is currently visible on the tube as Urvashi 'Komalika' Dholakia's hubby, Subratho in Kasauti Zindagi Kay. And now Ashish Kaul will soon essay a sophisticated NRI in a Taurus Video production, Ek Chabhi Hai Pados Mein. Feelers are that this new tri-weekly show, to be directed by noted filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, will soon replace Shanno Ki Shaadi on Star Plus.
"I play an NRI who wants to get his father back from the U.S. Varun Badola, who is the main lead, has been brought up by my father and plays my best buddy. I can't reveal anything further, "says Ashish while shooting at a suburban studio. He adds, "Balaji is very accommodating, so there are no issues with regards to my date management after taking up Ek Chabhi…"
So, what is the status quo of his track in Kasauti….? "My character started off on a negative note, which later turned positive for sometime, and now, once again it will become evil. I will now concentrate all my attempts to trouble Prerna and Anurag," reveals Ashish.
"The atmosphere on the sets is quite decent. I gel with everyone, particularly the women folk - Moonmoon, Shubha Varma and Shweta Tiwari. They have nicknamed me Sakhi. They often get food for me, and at times my wife delivers food for them, which we all relish together! Coming to my male collegues, I have formal interactions with Cezanne Khan and Ronit Roy, " states Ashish, who is excited to play a lead in Raja Mukherji's, Kisi Ki Nazar Na Lage, to be aired on DD by the end of this month.
