Recently we reported about young talent and popular face in the advertisement circuit Dhruv Raj Sharma being roped in as the male lead in Ravi Ojha’s upcoming venture Hum Saath Saath Hai on Life OK.
Set in the backdrop of Goa, the show will be about a poor young fisherman (Dhruv Raj Sharma), who will end up staying in a haunted house befriending some ghosts.
As per media reports the show was supposed to mark the comeback of talented veteran actor Rakesh Bedi on television. But, now our sources inform that with the show getting delayed, Rakesh opted out of the project citing date issues.
So who will step into his shoes?
Well Tellychakkar.com has exclusive information that veteran actor Tiku Talsania will be seen replacing Rakesh. He will play the character of the female lead's father.
When we contacted Rakesh for a comment, he confirmed the development and said, “I wanted to be a part of the project but my dates are becoming an issue. If they manage to adjust it, I would be more than happy."
On the other hand, Tiku refused to comment on the same.
While we reported earlier that Maninee De Mishra, Anita Kanwal and Indraneel Bhattacharya playing the members of the Ghost family. Now, the other member of the ghost clan, who has been selected, is Madhubala and Singhasan Battisi famed actress Sweta Vyas. Sweta will essay the character of Riya, a young, chirpy, positive ghost.
We also called up Sweta, who confirmed being a part of Hum Saath Saath Hai but refused to divulge any further.
