Rucha Gujarati has been finalised to play the lead in Zee's forthcoming Palkhi, but the dates issue with Sony's Kkusum continues to shackle her feet. "That is the dilemma I am in. I'll have to manage both somehow…" sighs the petite actress. She plays a spoilt brat in Sony's Kkusum, she reinvented herself by playing a victim of sexual abuse in Rihhaee, now Rucha is all set to play the lead in Zee's afternoon show, Palkhi. "Yes, I will be part of Palkhi. But I am yet to sign the contract," admits Rucha, who was recently in the news over her rather publicized tiff with Aashka Goradia, who plays Kkumud in Kkusum. Although Rucha is almost sure to do the role she doesn't want to talk about it because her dates are still a problem. She admits that's the dilemma currently plaguing her, but is optimistic that she will find a way out. It is ironic that the role that played an important part in making her a household name is now the cause of all her worries --- so much so that she cannot take up other offers. Incidentally, Rucha's contract with Balaji is coming to an end. The buzz on the sets is that Rucha has now decided to give only 15 days to Kkusum, and the Balaji people are reportedly not very happy with the turn of events --- after all, it is Kkusum that has made Rucha a household name. To this, however, Rucha prefers not to comment. Meanwhile, Nausheen's entry into Kkusum has been temporarily put on hold as she has put a condition on the number of scenes that she will do with Aashka, whose contract has already expired --- we wonder if she will be retained in the show. It seems that now Ekta is in a quandary whether to choose her 'lead' or the 'second lead.' Not that we care, it is dilemmas like these that our gupshup thrives on!
