MUMBAI: Seven days ago, Sunil Grover had made a funny Instagram post on "influencers." He'd shared a picture of a cat showing off swag. The comedian often entertains the audience with his witty posts.

Famous for his roles as Guthhi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati, underwent a heart surgery at Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai today (February 2). The news has stunned all his fans and well wishers. Simi Grewal took to Twitter to wish Sunil Grover a speedy recovery, she wrote, "Am shocked that @WhoSunilGrover has had heart surgery. Filling our hearts with laughter & joy..at the cost of his own. I pray he recovers fast.. He has a formidable talent..& I'm a huge fan!!"

A media portal had called up Asian Heart Institute earlier today and they confirmed that Sunil is admitted but refrained from divulging any other details. Reportedly, he had a few blockages in the heart. According to reports, the actor who was last seen in a web series, is recuperating at the hospital.

Meanwhile, several fans and well wishers have taken to social media to wish the actor a speedy recovery.
