MUMBAI: The year 2020 wasn't good, as the entire world was hit but the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

Well, people were hoping for things to end by 2021, but that didn't happen, and the world experienced the second wave, which was even worse.

Apart from commoners, a lot of celebrities passed away in the last few months of the year 2021. Some deaths were quite shocking for fans.

So, here's a list of celebrities who died in the year 2021 at a young age.

Seher Latif
The casting director of the film The Lunchbox passed away in Mumbai due to renal failure.

Ajay Sharma
He edited Bollywood films such as Jagga Jasoos and Ludo and the hit web series Bandish Bandits. He died on May 4 due to complications arising from COVID-19.

Abhilasha Patil
She has acted in several popular Hindi and Marathi films. The actress passed away in Mumbai due to complications arising from COVID-19. She was 47 and is survived by her mother, her husband, and her son.  

Ryinku Singh Nikumbh
She was best known for her role in Ayushmann Khurrana's film Dream Girl. Ryinku died due to COVID-19 complications.

Kanupriya
The TV actor and anchor appeared in shows like Bhanwar, Ananro, Kahi Aek Gaon, and Meri Kahani and hosted shows like Brahma Kumaris passed away due to Covid-19 complications.  

Rahul Vohra
He was an actor and a YouTuber who died of COVID-19 in a Delhi hospital in the month of May at the age of 35. His death made more poignant by a Facebook post shared a day earlier in which he wrote that he would have lived had he received proper and timely medical care.

Amit Mistry
He had appeared in a number of Bollywood films, web series, and TV shows. Amit passed away on 23rd April due to cardiac arrest. This came as a huge shocker for fans.
