Shashi-Sumeet Productions mourns the demise of Project Head, Bhupesh Kholi

Project Head, Bhupesh Kholia

The last few days have been saddening for the entire family of Shashi-Sumeet Productions, as they have been mourning the untimely demise of Bhupesh Kholi,a who had been working as Project Head in the company since a long time. The man passed away on 22 July, and was aged 41. He is survived by a wife, is what we hear.

Bhupesh was a very close friend of Producer Sumeet H Mittal, and they had a long and fruitful association of about 16 years. It is believed that Bhupesh, who was the Project Head of Diya Aur Baati Hum, had been one of the strong pillars in the progress of Shashi-Sumeet Productions.

Having been part of many huge projects made under the Shashi Sumeet banner, the talented man will surely be missed.

Paying respects to Bhupesh, the producers apparently declared a day of mourning yesterday, and halted the shoot of most of their shows, except for Badii Devrani which had to be shot owing to date issues of certain actors. Badii Devrani team will instead not shoot today.

We tried contacting Producer Sumeet H Mittal to know more about his long association with Bhupesh, but he remained unavailable.

However, he posted on his Facebook page:

Kya hai apna, kaun hai apna, koi kahaan samajh pata hai...
Bheed bahut hai iss shehar mein, per koi kahaan bin matlab hath badhata hai...
Khushkismat ho gar koi mujh jaisa, to yaar tujhsa yahaan pata hai...
Door ja ker bhi tu kareeb hi rahega mere, tujhei bhi iss ke siva kahaan kuchh bhata hai...

Will miss you Bhupesh... Bahut jaldi chala gaya yaar

We hear that the last rites of Bhupesh will take place today.

Tellychakkar.com offers condolences to the entire Shashi-Sumeet family and also to the family of Bhupesh.
