Just like the rest of the cast of Channel V’s The Buddy Project (Sunshine Productions), Sonal Vengurlekar too was finalised to play an important role in the show post the leap however, her entry got delayed.
But now this actress, who was last seen in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge in Sony TV, is all set to make her grand entry in the serial.
Sonal will be seen as Rukmani, a girl who has come down from Allahabad against her parents’ will to complete her education. She wears a bindass attitude and does not believe in love.
As seen so far, Jaitley (Manav Gohil) has decided on staying back in the college to teach Chillar and Dhakkan gang a lesson. But, first he will decide on giving them a few tasks.
The first assignment will be of them helping an unknown person. And the one Ranveer (Kunal Jaisingh) will be asked to help will be Rukmani. What issues does she have? Well, since Rukmani comes from a small town she is not good with English hence, Ranveer will be given the onus to teach her the language. Interestingly, Ranveer will fall for her the minute he sees her.
When contacted Sonal she said, “Yes, I am very much a part of the show and I am enjoying shooting for it.”
Her entry will be aired by end of this week or early next.
