Along with acting in the TV show Remote Control, Mansi is busy shooting for a Tamil film Leelai. It is thrilling for Mansi to act in two different mediums at the same time. She would love to do more films be it in Tamil or any other language.

Leelai is made by Ravi Chandran’s Oskar production. It is a romantic comedy directed by Androe Vasant. Mansi plays the role of an old fashioned Tamil girl opposite Shiv Pandit. It is one of the costliest movies from the south. The movie is expected to release in September or October. “The movie is intelligently made. The script of this movie is extremely sensible,” she said. The movie revolves only around her and Shiv Pandit, so Mansi has very few co- actors to work with.

“Working in Tamil movies is not relaxing either. Here also I had to shoot six to seven shots in a day. We shot thirty minutes of the film in just ten days. I would also add that shooting of this movie was more organised than TV shows. Everyone is very punctual. They report on the sets at the right time and they are immensely professional,” described Mansi.

Mansi is getting many offers from the south. If something as exciting as Leelai comes her way, she would take it up. In spite of being a Gujarati, acting in a Tamil film has not been difficult for her.

We hope South proves to be a lucky direction for Mansi.
