Tarun Khanna was last seen in Vikram Betal as Prince Vikram on Colors. Now he has got a new role in BAG Films’ Ganga. His character of the main antagonist is expected to enter the show next month. A source from the show says, “Tarun has just started shooting for the show. He is playing a mahant in the show. It’s a grey character and a very prominent role expected to make a stylish entry. We have shot special promos for his entry sequence which will be on air soon.” Buzz is it is the same character which Abhinav Shukla earlier refused to play as it was a second lead. Meanwhile Tarun refused to divulge any details about the show though when asked about his movies he says, “My last Hindi film Mission 11 July bombed at box office. Now I have finished shooting for a Punjabi film movie called Gud Kha Ke Mar Javaan. Aman Verma is also in the film. It is a romantic comedy. Aman is playing a negative role and I’m the lead. It is a very big film and a few more days of shooting are left. It is scheduled for a May release. I do not want to take any work now, due to this show. I will concentrate on this role and wait for the feedback.” Gud Kha Ke Mar Javaan is directed by Aditya Sud and the last leg of shooting is supposed to take place in Dubai. It is said that his character in Ganga is larger than life and his entry in the show will be followed by a few more new characters.
