MUMBAI: Shanelle she is the daughter of Smriti Irani's husband Zubin with his first wife.

Smriti is always seen sharing photos and videos of Shanelle on her Instagram and calls her to be "partner in crime." They share an adorable mother-daughter bond. Smriti has two children with Zubin - Zohr and Zoish Irani. Smriti recently broke the news of her daughter Shanelle Irani's engagement with boyfriend Arjun Bhalla a few days ago on social media.

Smriti has now shared a new photo of Shanelle and Arjun Bhalla to thank everyone in her style. She penned down a note that also spoke about how her 'saas' reference in the previous post caught a lot of attention. She further joked about how the 'damaad' (son-in-law) will be the one to suffer this time.

Here's what the note read: "@iamzfi , I & the entire family have been inundated with good wishes and blessings for @shanelleirani & @arjun_bhalla .. the love showered on the young ones humble us.. it is with a deep sense of gratitude I say a big ‘ thank you’ to all … many who wish us have never met us nor known us personally however you send us your celebratory messages with such kindness .. we are overwhelmed how can I ever thank everyone enough do keep our children in your thoughts and prayers as we keep all of you .. p.s— many of you were delighted with the ‘saas’ wala comeback.. keep the laughter going .. after all ab receiving end pe damaad hoga bahu nahi  (sic)"
