MUMBAI: Rubina Dilaik rose to fame with ‘Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, in which she played the role of a transgender. After she left the show, she participated in Bigg Boss 14 with her husband and emerged as the winner of the season. She lifted the trophy along with the prize money.

Rubina is now gearing up for her Bollywood debut with a film titled Ardh. The movie is being directed by Palash Muchhal, and it also stars Hiten Tejwani and Rajpal Yadav. Neither the release date nor whether it will get a theatrical release or an on-demand release has been announced yet.

Rubina and Anubhav got married in 2018 after many years of dating. Anubhav and Rubina has worked opposite each other in 'Choto Bahu'

Both Abhinav and Rubina participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 14 together On the show, they discussed their marital problems and how they were considering divorce. But they gave each other a second chance, moved on with their lives, and emerged stronger.

But the couple has come out stronger than ever and in an interview with an entertainment portal, Rubina revealed that she knew after dating Abhinav for 5-6 months that he is the guy that she wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

Rubina also revealed that she was the first one to confess their love,  to each other and the first one to propose, and Abhinav's reaction to it was very weird because he was caught by surprise.

Rubina and Abhinav appeared together on Bigg Boss 14, with Rubina walking away as the winner. She will make her film debut this year with Ardh.
