The war of words between the Bedi clan has just got nastier. Following daughter Pooja Bedi’s catty tweet on his marriage, veteran actor Kabir took to Twitter to lash out at her.

In an interview, Pooja had apparently blamed her new step-mom Parveen for the growing differences between the father-daughter duo.

The whole tweet-o-nama started when Kabir Bedi married long-time girlfriend Parveen a day before his 70^th birthday in a hush-hush ceremony. The two, who have been together for nine years, decided to take the plunge on January 15. Even though his daughter from his first marriage to Protima was missing, she decided to take to a micro-blogging site to ‘wish’ her father and his new wife. 

The biting tweet, which was later deleted, clearly tells us that Pooja is not fond of Parveen, who’s almost five years younger than the former.  In order to rectify her mistake, she put up another tweet.

While his son Adam Bedi tried to pacify the situation with this congratulatory tweet.



While talking to an online portal, the actress said, ?“My dad and I have had personal issues a couple years ago. They could have been sorted but they were seriously aggravated by the animosity between me and Parveen. I wasn't invited to the wedding."

Kabir Bedi has been married three times before. His first wife was the late Protima Bedi, an oddissi dancer. Followed by the British fashion designer Susan Humphreys. While his third marriage was to TV presenter Nikki Bedi. All his three marriages ended in a divorce.
