MUMBAI: Aishwarya, in her initial days had to face a lot of issues realted to nepotism and was boycotted from the industry for quite some time after her personal tiff with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. 

As we all know, the actress was in a relationship with Salman Khan for a long time post their movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, but then the relationship got sour and they broke up. Infact, Aishwarya gave Salman the boot by registering a police complaint against the actor for misbehaving with her. There were several reports doing the rounds back then, that Salman was very possessive for the actress and he wanted to settle down with her. 

Owing to the showdown with Salman, Aishwarya was replaced in many big banner movies especially with YRF.

A lesser known fact is that she was signed for Veer Zaara but then was replaced by Preity Zinta and a similar case happened in Chalte Chalte, for which the actress had started to shoot and was replaced on the last moment by Rani Mukerjee. She had seven movies lined up with Shah Rukh Khan and big production houses where she was replaced overnight. 

Salman had even  gone on the sets of Chalte Chalte and created a ruckus there owing to which Ash was shown the door. 

The actress dated Vivek Oberoi and on a chat show he claimed that when Salman was trying to create a lot of problems in Aishwarya's life, the entire industry had boycotted her and she was left all alone. Well, Salman has always had an upper hand in the industry and they are several artists who have suffered because of the fallout with the actor. Whether it was Arijit Singh, Aishwarya Rai, Vivek Oberoi and even Sushant, everyone has faced severe backlash for raising their voice against the actor and these things are happening for a long time in Bollywood. 

Only time will tell who will be next bear the brunt of stepping into Bollywood!
