MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has been at the forefront of reporting the latest news on Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety actress Ishita Raj Sharma’s upcoming solo flick. Produced by Yashvi Films, the untitled movie is a love triangle. As we reported earlier, Bollywood hottie Prateik Babbar, who was recently appreciated for his performance in Baaghi 2, was being roped in to play one of the male protagonists.

According to most recent developments, another popular Indian actor Siddhanth Kapoor is also a part of this project. A little birdie exclusively informed TellyChakkar that the 33-year-old actor would play the main lead.

The basic plot revolves around the two guys chasing the leading lady (Ishita) and their collective shenanigans.

Siddhanth, who was last seen in Haseena Parkar as Dawood Ibrahim, has started the shooting for the light-hearted drama, an insider confides. The talented actor has primarily played serious characters in his 6-year Bollywood journey. This time, however, he will essay a light character, a refreshing change from his previous four movies.

The film is currently being shot in Mauritius. It is directed by popular ad director Owais Khan, who would be making his big-screen debut with this project.

What do think of Prateik Babbar?

Interestingly, rumors have it that both Prateik and Siddhanth, who would be bickering onscreen, get along very well off camera.
