MUMBAI: After making her foray into film production with Pari and NH10, Anushka Sharma is all set to make her debut in web series along with brother Karnesh Sharma. As an entrepreneur, the actress has been keen on expanding the scope of her company from just being a film production studio. The production company, Clean Slate Films, is foraying into web series production. Interestingly, Anushka and Karnesh have already locked their first series with Amazon.

The series, which is a gripping cop drama, will be hosted on Amazon Prime. Anushka has roped in n Sudeep Sharma, acclaimed writer of films like NH10 and Udta Punjab, to pilot this project. Anushka won’t be acting in it.

Anushka and her brother have are determined to break new ground with every piece of content that comes from their production house. As producers, Anushka and Karnesh are trying to diversify and become a creative hub that produces films, ads, and web content. She is driven by strong ideas that make for engaging, disruptive, yet hugely entertaining cinema and wants all content that they produce to always resonate these values.
