Unfortunately, a generational transition caused them to leave the show in 2022, and regrettably, their friendship in real life also ended at that time. It's interesting to note that during Sumbul and Fahmaan's stay in Imlie, real-life pair Rajshri Rani and Gaurav Mukesh had important roles.

Aryan makes it very clear to Imlie that they aren’t friends and that they only have a professional relationship. It will be interesting to see if Imlie is able to reach Aditya or not.

Sumbul is brilliant in her work and I didn't hesitate even once to let the process happen.

Gaurav will recreate the popular scene of Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na when he bumps into Rajshri, who plays Arpita in the show.

Imlie is a big show doing really well and I am going to give it my best towards making this character what the makers expect of it. That said I love the atmosphere of a set and I blend in very well.
