As the negative Charu of Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Shakuntalam Telefilms), actor Aanchal Khurana has always kept viewers hopping for more drama. And now after winning the Award for the Best Actor in a Negative role at The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards, the girl is not able to keep away from the limelight, especially when it comes to her friends and well-wishers. The girl from Delhi had earlier won Roadies 8, and she added yet another feather in her cap by bagging an award at the Tellys in her very first fiction show. Aanchal who is presently in her home town Delhi is gearing up for the success party that she has thrown for her friends after winning the award. Says Aanchal to Tellychakkar.com, “Well, I have been busy with my work in Mumbai for the past two years. Ever since I won Roadies, I have not been able to enjoy the moment with my friends in Delhi. Now that I won the Indian Telly Awards, they have been after my life for a success bash. So I have organized one at ‘The Billionaire’ in Delhi on 8 June 2013. Incidentally, one of my close friends is a media person, and she has invited media from Delhi to cover the event. I am really looking forward to the day.” Ask her about the next role that she would want to take up, the actor says, “I will stick to television as I feel this is a clean area to work in. After playing the negative Charu, I will now want to essay a positive character. But this does not mean that I will not do negative roles. But if you ask what my heart says, I would say that I want to play an ‘adarsh bahu’ in my next show.” Way to go, Aanchal!!!
