Abhinav Kapoor

MUMBAI: The remake of Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham is soon making its way on Sony Entertainment Television under Ekta Kapoor’s banner Balaji Telefilms.

TellyChakkar has been on the forefront to update the readers with each development. Recently, we wrote that Bijay Anand, Geetanjali Tikekar, Ritu Vij and Manraj Singh will be seen in the daily.

However, as per the latest development, handsome hunk Abhinav Kapoor has been roped in for the project. Abhinav was last seen in Star Plus’ Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee.

If sources are to be believed, Abhinav will portray a helper’s son who will happen to be very close to the family. He will be slice of life kind of a person and will have an important role in the show.

Earlier, makers had approached Manraj Singh for the particular role; however, Abhinav has now bagged the show.

When we contacted Abhinav, he shared, “Yes, I am in talks but cannot comment anything at the moment.”

We also contacted Manraj but he remained unavailable to comment.

Stay tuned for more updates!
