They are everywhere. <em> Amber and Dhara</em> – the small screen’s first conjoined twins. Be it on the tube, advertising hoardings, in print or in any media. And now, they’ve come out on to the streets as well.
Amber (Kashmira Irani) and Dhara (Sulagna Panigrahi) visited Lokhandwala market in Mumbai’s Andheri suburb to be a part of the ongoing Lokhandwala shopping festival. Amber says “We are here just to be a part of this shopping festival. This is a new experience for us. As of now, we ourselves don’t know what we’ll be doing.”

As the proceedings began, Amber and Dhara waved to the crowds from a moving truck and gifting T-shirts. All along the market street, shoppers came out to get a glimpse of the star girls. Little kids left their mothers and rushed forward with autograph books. Some of them even tried to climb aboard the truck.
Amidst the sounds of drum beats and trumpets, the two girls wished a Happy Diwali to all. The parade lasted for a good 45 minutes before the girls headed back for their shoot.
