Actor Ankita Bhargava as our readers would know, has bagged a prized role in Jay Productions’ upcoming show for Sony Entertainment Television which features Poonam Dhillon, Sooraj Thapar, Krystle DSouza and Karan Sharma in central roles.
And now we hear that Ankita is also part of an Indo-Swedish miniseries shot entirely in Udaipur. The entire team of the project starting from the actors, directors, DOP, sound recordist are from Sweden. The story happens to be about two Swedish guys and their escapades in India. The actors are famous stand-up comedians in Sweden, David Batra and Johan Glans. Ankita who becomes friends with these guys is a blogger and traveller. The story will revolve around Ankita bonding into friendship with these guys, and finally landing up bursting their bubble.
Talking about the project, Ankita tells Tellychakkar.com, “This is my first international project and it was a pleasure working with this team. They have supreme work ethics and respect our culture more than us. Since I am an anti-smoking person, I was mighty impressed that they do not believe in smoking on the sets. That was like heaven for me.”
On her visit to Udaipur for the shoot, she says, “This was also my first visit to Udaipur. I saw the light and sound show at the city palace and was amazed at the history of Mewars. Udaipur is a beautiful city with so many lakes.”
Ankita is also a renowned name in the advertisement circuit having shot for ads like ABP News promo ad, Sunfeast Marie, Domino’s to name a few. This particular project will be aired as a mini-series on TV in Sweden.
