Young and charming, Jatin Sharma, known for doing shows like The Buddy Project and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha Season 2, has all the potentials to make it big.

Currently seen as Raju, the male lead in Life OK’s daily, Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re (Shobhna Desai Productions), the man is gradually creating a niche for himself in the industry. When we connected with the man he shared with us the reason behind agreeing to do such a different role of a rugged and rough young man.

“From last two years I was not happy with the kind roles I was offered. I don’t want to become a typical hero, rather I am more interested to essay real characters; whom we can see around us. And my character Raju is a rowdy, young man with a bitter past, who is not the usual goody one, not often seen on screen. And that is the only reason I gave a nod to the project”.

Jatin went on to add, “I never wanted to do saas-bahu sagas. I was eager to do some project with which the youth can connect. And Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re is about making our viewers conscious about all the social evils. And I hope that young audience would love to watch something like this. Honestly speaking, if I would have been in the audiences’ seat, I would have loved to see this”.

We also quizzed the young man, whether he feels pressurized to make a show successful and Jatin quipped, “With Supriya ji (Pathak) in the cast we already have the star value needed for a good show. On my behalf, it is definitely a challenge to make people love me, as my character is not someone, with whom audience will fall in love at the first sight. And if they don’t accept me, then they will not love watch my show every day. Hence, I have to put some extra effort to make my viewers grow fond of me”.

So, how was the experience of shooting with Supriya ji? And the young man with a smile on his face said, “Well I was both excited and nervous at the same time, when I first met her. Even during the shots I asked her whether I am doing anything wrong or looking anxious. But, she is such a generous lady that she comforted me with her sweet words”.
