Spellbound and Walkwater Productions’ Pratigya saw the entry of Mohit Malik in yesterday’s (7 June 2012) episode. He has entered as the parallel lead Abhimanyu Singh Yadav, who is a lawyer by profession.

The court dealings with respect to Adarsh’s death will be the prime focus in the coming weeks. Pratigya (Pooja Gor) will actually approach Abhimanyu to defend Krishna (Arhaan Behll). But the twist in the tale will happen when Abhimanyu will accept the case from Shyamji’s side (Pratigya’s father) and will in fact fight the case to convict Krishna.

On the character, we hear that Abhimanyu is a complex character who simply hates rich people for a reason. And he is totally against Sajjan Singh (Anupam Shyam) and there is a past involved between them. Abhimanyu is the complete opposite of Krishna; while Krishna who is the rough and tough guy is uneducated, Abhimanyu who also happens to be from a village is civilized and educated.

The inside buzz is that Abhimanyu might turn out to be the illegitimate son of Sajjan Singh, and that explains the hatred the guy has for the elder man.

Pratigya will now have her task cut out as she with the help of the lawyer she has appointed will fight against the able lawyer Abhimanyu who has a motive in ruining the happiness prevailing in Sajjan Singh’s family.

We tried contacting Mohit Malik, but could not get through to him...

Get ready for a gripping court case in Pratigya...
