Sahara One's plans to launch a horror show titled Haunted Nights. But the latest that we have gathered is that the channel is all set to introduce not one, but two horror shows. Yes, it is going to be an eerie affair on Sahara One with two spine-chilling serials airing every Monday to Friday from 11pm to 12am. The two shows are Entertainment Hub and Vikram Bhatt's Haunted Nights, which will air at 11 pm and Eagle Film's (Rajiv Mehra's) Pvt. Ltd. Yeh Kaali Kaali Raatein, which will spread fear amongst the masses at the 11:30pm slot. The formats of both the shows are pretty much similar. Each show will have a story that will start on Monday and come to a conclusion on Friday. However, Vikram Bhatt's Haunted Nights will see more renowned faces. But Rajiv Mehra is not perturbed about it, "The channel wanted an hour long slot with two independent producers in the same genre. Hence, we decided to take up the challenge. I think it's going to be fun and since we are doing this for the first time we will attempt to give our best. And since both of us are from the same fraternity and know our jobs well, it does not really matter much," shared Rajiv. Furthermore, Rajiv went on to say that for a horror show to be successful, "you need good actors and not established actors. However, we will work as per the demand of the stories, and so our show see a mix of both." Hmm… that sounds great, Rajiv. We also talked to Suresh Mishra, Assistant Director (worker), Sahara, and this is what he had to say about the channel's new strategy of introducing horror shows, "Horror stories have always worked for us (Raat Hone Ko Hai). So here we have Vikram Bhatt who is the master of the horror genre and Rajiv is also superb in his work. We wanted two different producers as we intend to churn out diverse content." Quite a strategy, we must say. Both the shows are going on air from tonight (20 February 2012).
