The good looking and talented Manas Shah, who played the character of Rohan in Amita Ka Amit, had been missing from screens after the show wrapped up. But now the man is back in business with a new avatar having gone for a complete makeover. Shares Manas, “Having done TV for a while, I wanted to move on to films. I used to look like a college student and the first step towards my new journey was to look good and with so many actors in Bollywood having a fantastic physique, I wanted to be at par.” Talking about his fitness regime Manas says, “Since I am a vegetarian it was very difficult to get the right nutrition. I was on a very strict diet and put in all my hard work and efforts to get the right physique. Thankfully my efforts paid off and I am all set to start my career in films with a positive approach.” So is there something in the pipeline? “Yes, there is a movie that I will be doing but I cannot reveal much on that. It’s a love triangle and an interesting story, let’s see how things work out.” Having moved to movies, is it ciao ciao for Manas on TV? “I have worked in popular shows and I will never quit TV but now I am only looking for lead roles. Since I am already doing a movie I will now maintain the position, and would prefer only being the hero (smiles). But TV has given me everything and thus I will never turn away from it.” We wish you great luck Manas!
