Mohan Kapur, who was last seen in Hum Ne Li Hai… Shapath on Life OK, will now come in as the saviour of Nimrit in Rajan Shahi’s Amrit Manthan on the same channel. As reported, Nimrit (Dimple Jhangiani) will meet with an unfortunate death at the hands of Amrit (Adaa Khan), only to come back with a new face and a new identity. It’s already been reported about Ankita Sharma entering the show as the new Nimrit. Mohan Kapur, who essays the character of S.J. Oberoi is a multi millionaire and the owner of a chain of restaurants across the world. He will come across Nimrit who happens to be in a half-dead state. He will give the best of treatments to the girl, and will be her guardian. As the story unfolds, Oberoi (who has lost his wife and kid) will take Nimrit as his own daughter and will help her fight against the injustice meted upon her by her own sister. When contacted, Mohan Kapur confirmed his entry in Amrit Manthan saying, “Yes, I play a multi millionaire who loves to live life. He will help the lead girl get back to health and will love her as his daughter. His entry will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the girl’s life.” Mohan Kapur’s entry will be shown sometime next week.
