Ali Merchant who has just turned businessman is launching a luxurious lounge Tvam which means ‘all about you’ with girlfriend Sara Khan and Dr. Jitesh Shetty. Ali will have a pre launch party on May 25. “It will have all kinds of facilities right from tattoos, skin treatment, spa, dental treatment, cosmetic surgery etc. We are going to have a staff of visually challenged people who are going to give physiotherapy,” he informs. The lounge is located in Lokhandwala and will open for all on June 6. “My mother is in this business for the past 30 years and I know Dr Shetty for three years now so we thought we need to give back something to this society and that’s why we collaborated. Sara and I are going to be the directors of this lounge and our main aim will be business development and ensure its smooth running. Nowadays youngsters look for quality so they do not mind spending in extra money, but we are also going to provide membership cards and these treatments will be available at cheap rates,” he says. Ali is currently working in Do Hanso Ka Joda and is just about to start work on his first movie with Sara. The mahurat of his first movie called Hyderabadi Daamad will take place on May 26 of this month. He has also shot a pilot for Fox Production’s new show.
