Shakti-Kunwar quit Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance

Kunwar and Shakti
Shocking and sad news for the fans of Kunwar Amar and Shakti Mohan! The popular and loved jodi of Kriyansh will no longer be a part of Channel V’s Dil Dostii Dance (D3) (Cinevistaas Productions). The actors have always been an integral part of the show. Kunwar as Rey has been a part of the serial since its inception and Shakti returned to play Kriya after a break. But as per media reports their journey has come to an end for they have quit the project. The two have put down their papers and this would be the last week of the their association with Dil Dostii Dance. Shakti has already been doing a good job in Colors’ Jhalak and Kunwar has been signed for SOL’s upcoming reality show on Life OK. So it seems both have been eyeing greener pastures. Earlier, the two faced the wrath of fans for being given more prominence over the other on screen duo in the show Swayam (Shantanu Maheshwari) and Sharon (Vrushika Mehta). It was also alleged that the couple was apparently responsible of getting Palkhi Malhotra, the ex creative head, out of the show. D3 recently saw the entry of four new faces to pep up the drama quotient and with Shakti and Kunwar exiting; it seems there would be more changes in the plot. The channel as reported is keeping the news a close guarded secret to avoid receiving negative feedback from the masses. We spoke to Kunwar but he told us to call later. Shakti remained unavailable. So will you watch D3 after the exit of Kriya and Reyansh? Let us know in the comment section below.
