Shubhangi Atre Poorey's negative act in Havan..

Shubhangi Atre Poorey
Shubhangi Atre Poorey has been known for her positive and bubbly roles in Do Hanson Ka Jodaa and Kasturi. But her role in Rajan Shahi’s Havan is very different. The show is aired on Colors. “I wanted to do a power packed role; something which was challenging and different,” Shubhangi says of her character Trishna. “Unlike popular belief, my character is not negative; but instead it is just way too ambitious. She wants the power position and hence works towards that goal,” she adds. And she loves this character to the core. Ask her which is her favorite scene till date, and she replies excitedly. “I just enjoyed performing the Bhang scene.” The scene went on air sometime in October and revealed Trishna’s true intentions. In fact, Shubhangi put in great efforts to prepare for the scene. “My character was shown to have consumed bhang and hence my eyes had to look red. Luckily, I wear lenses in the show, so I rubbed my eyes to get some reddishness,” adds the actress. Not only this, she was supposed to laugh too, so the star guffawed for nearly two hours before the shot to get everything right for the three-minute scene. Luckily, her efforts paid off really well. “I received great reviews for my performance. But the best reactions came in from my fans. They were shocked to see me in this avatar, after positive roles in Do Hanson Ka Jodaa and Kasturi,” reveals Shubhangi. Tellychakkar.com hopes you continue giving such power packed performances!!!
