Maninee De-Mishra (aka Pari of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi) has joined the cast of Aroona Irani??€â„?s Naaginn. Elaborating on her role, she says, ??€?“I play Ambalika, who is a clairvoyant. It??€â„?s quite a funny character. Initially, she starts as a fake but later realises that she indeed does possess spiritual powers. She??€â„?ll be there to guide Amrita (Sayantani Ghosh) ??€â€? the Naaginn.??€Â? Is it yet another cameo role? Manini replies ??€?“It??€â„?s not a cameo role. Although, throughout my career I??€â„?ve felt comfortable playing cameos only. I??€â„?ve always believed in doing character roles. Ambalika is a very difficult and different character and take it as a challenge.??€Â? Ironically, Manini fears snakes. She explains, ??€?“That??€â„?s the first ting I told the production house. I didn??€â„?t want any snakes around me. Once they agreed to my request, it??€â„?s only then that I gave my nod. After all, ignorance is bliss.??€Â?
