Swapna Waghmare Joshi - the coolest director around

Click on the pic to view slideshow She has been there…done that. Swapna Waghmare Joshi has been there in the entertainment industry for years now. She has been the creative head and director of many popular shows like Kutumb, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Teen Bahuraaniyan and most recently Rang Badalti Odhani. She also made a leap from the small to the big screen as the director of the movie Damadamm. Currently, she is co-producing and directing Devyani for Star Pravah. “It’s a completely different experience working with Marathi actors. They are very talented as they come from a theatre background. They are focused and are easy to work with,” shared Swapna with Tellychakkar.com when she came in as a guest editor. “However, the only glitch is that Marathi shows have low budgets when compared to Hindi ones. We have to work around it,” she continued. After interacting with Swapna, we realised how shiny and bubbly a person she is. We hereby christen her as “cute, lovely and wonderful.” She went on to file articles (which we will upload soon) and impressed all of us with her journalistic skills. Later, Swapna left our office promising to come back again!!!
