Raj Singh, who is currently seen in Star Plus’ Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, may have grown a year older on his birthday today (3 June 2013), but this special day seems to have brought out the child in him. “I am celebrating today like a kid,” avers the actor with a chuckle. Raj started off this day on a spiritual note as he goes on to narrate, “I went to the temple to seek blessings of the Almighty; took blessings of my parents too.” Earlier during the day, he went to Jack & Jones to shop, fully availing of their sixty per cent sale. “I have done loads of shopping,” he quips. In the evening, the actor plans to go out with his family and friends to a Chinese restaurant for a quiet dinner. As for gifts, his friends gifted him shirts, jeans, coffee mugs and key chains. Going down memory lane, he says his best birthday was in the year 1998 when his dad gifted him a red Maruti car and his worst birthday was when he died in reel life in Pavitra Rishta. “You see, my end came on the show, a day just before my birthday. That was indeed upsetting, ”he informs. Though he celebrated this joyous day like a child, he feels that he is also growing wiser with each passing birthday. We wish this actor a jubilant birthday!!!
