MUMBAI: The Sushant Singh Rajput case is one of the most high-profile cases and four big agencies are investigating it.

Just a few days back, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail in the drug cartel case and her lawyer had released a statement and said that justice has been served and the truth shall prevail.

There was news doing the rounds that SSR and Rhea had met a day before the former’s demise and that the late actor had gone to drop Rhea at her place. The report further mentioned that eyewitness had confirmed the same.

As per Times of India, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has released a statement and squashed all the theories of the two meeting.

He said that they will now start going after people who defamed her and tried to destroy her life and moral for two minutes of glory on the electronic media. He also mentioned Rhea’s neighbour Dimple Thawani who calls herself an SSR fan and believes that she is his soul mate owing to a past life connection.

Dimple had told the media that on 13th June 2020, a day before SSR’s demise, the late actor and Rhea had met, and he had come to drop her at her place. Now her lawyer has squashed all this baseless news and said that she wants to share the limelight with others who claim to know the late actor.

He then says that the CBI has recorded her statement and requested the honest journalists to go and record the same.

Well, more revelations will be out of the closet as the investigation is still on and till now no lead has emerged from the case.
