MUMBAI: On the sets of Sony Entertainment Television’s kids dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 3 queen of classical dance Anwesha Bhatiya also known for her flexible moves and amazing dance moves was compared to Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s presence and performance on stage by Mithun Chakraborty right after her dance performance. “Getting compared to Shilpa Shetty Kundra is once in a lifetime achievement for me,” says Anwesha. The ace dance show known for its unique stylization and conceptualization comes back with a Dhamkedaar episode every weekend. The upcoming episode of the show will see Disco king Mithun Chakraborty gracing the sets of the show and guiding the contestants.

The 11 years old Contestant Anwesha from Bhilai Chattisgarh performed a mesmerizing fusion of classical and disco. She diversified Bharatnatyam and added the flavor of Disco in her dance performance and left everyone in awe. Watching Anwesha’s lightning performance on the song ‘Hasne ka Hasne ko’  Mithun Da went down the memory lane recalling Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s first dance performance. He mentioned, “When I saw Shilpa dancing for the first time it was a Bijli performance for me. She was very graceful in her classical moves. Today, I could see the same energy and striking moves performed by Anwesha with complete grace. Anwesha showcased a power-packed performance today and I could not help but remember Shilpa’s first dance performance that I ever saw.”

Later in the show, Shilpa was amazed knowing the fact that Mithun Da still remembers her first performance when she wasn’t even an established dancer and actor. Appreciating Anwesha she commented “I won’t be surprised if someday I get to hear about Anwesha Bharatnatyam style of dance. She is truly magical and I am sure she will make her mark in the world of Bharatnatyam.”
