That is exactly what Madhu Raja who plays Krishnaji in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain is doing on her birthday today (11 March 2013). This 70-year-old lady is having a 1970’s theme retro birthday party where all the guests are coming dressed in 70’s style. Madhu explains, “The 70’s theme has been chosen keeping in mind that it is my 70th birthday. We are also having a chaat party as I love chaat.” The actress has received bouquets and a beautiful snack tray from her elder daughter Shalini Raja. Her younger daughter actress Tarana Raja is arranging for the birthday party. She laughs, “My mother wanted a mike as she plans to rap.” Madhu has penned memorable incidents of her life in a manuscript titled Naaqoosh; which she has recorded in her voice too. She is gifting it to her daughters and the guests who will be attending the party. Madhu, though 70 is young at heart and is celebrating her birthday in the most innovative way ever. The spunky and bold Poonam Pandey also celebrates her birthday today. We were however unable to get in touch with her. We wish both these ladies an amazing birthday.
