Levelling plagiarism charges on filmmakers just days before their movie's release has become commonplace in Bollywood. In yet another case, a nondescript writer called Yogesh Sahu yesterday claimed that Xpose is a copy of his script named 'Revenge' registered in 2009. Talking to us over phone, Yogesh said, "I had registered my script called Revenge in 2009. Just last week, a friend of mine from Mumbai called and told me that the trailer of Xpose suggest that it's a rip off of my original script. After watching the same, I was convinced that Xpose is the story that I had written and is now called Revenge." When asked if he had ever shared his script with Himesh Reshammiya or anyone else from the film, Yogesh answered it in negative. "No. I had never showed or discussed my script with them. But it is possible that someone else who had seen my script could have narrated and leaked it out to them," reasoned Yogesh and added that he had shown his script to a certain director called Nagendar. Yogesh had also shot off legal notices to Himesh Reshmmiyaa and other producers of the film in the last week of April and if he is to be believed then the makers have received his legal notice but haven't responded yet. "I will consult my lawyer and take further action," said Yogesh. We found the entire claim of the writer to be a bit too farfetched and decided to do some sleuthing ourselves. We touched base with one of our sources close to the movie who informed us that the producers have indeed received a legal notice and the entire allegations impugned in it only made them laugh. "It is really silly because this man never met anyone to discuss his script. And Xpose is not a revenge plot. The makers have replied back to the legal notice," informed our source. When we asked Himesh Reshammiya about the same, the actor composer said, "It's publicity stunt. Nothing else." Looks like this is a classic case of yet another attempt by some last minute spoiler of a person out there to make a quick buck.
