After doing a positive role in Jeevan Sathi – Bandhan Saat Janmo Ka , Saillesh Gulabani is back to what he is best at. The actor is entering Aroona Irani’s supernatural thriller Naaginn in a negative role. And along with him is entering the beautiful actress Chhavi Mittal . In the recent past the actress has only been seen doing cameo roles. First it was Teen Bahuraaniyaan, then Grihasthi and now Naaginn. Saillesh is doing a supernatural thriller for the first time is really kicked about it. He says, “I am playing a supernatural character called Agni (Fire) who possesses magical powers. A sadhu (sage) wakes me up and tells me about the naagmani. A team consisting of three of us is then assigned the task of acquiring the naagmani by all means. The team includes a character called Vayu which is essayed by Puneet Sachdeva and a Cat-woman. My look is completely different in the show. The track might turn positive later on depending upon the response.” Were there any apprehensions doing a supernatural thriller for the first time? “When they called me for the look test I was asked to deliver dialogues in chaste Hindi. That was the first time I got nervous but then they really liked me in the character. Since this is the first time I am doing a supernatural character I take it as a great learning opportunity and I am doing it with complete dedication and zeal,” avers the actor. Saillesh has always maintained that he loves to do negative roles as they have a lot to offer. Saillesh says, “I love to do negative roles as one gets to do so much through a negative character. I will always be thankful to my negative characters in Cchhoona Hai Aasmaan and Ek Thi Rajkumari. The two characters brought me fame and recognition.” Talking about her character, Chhavi informs, “I am playing a simple village girl named Aastha who enters the life of the male lead in the show. With my entry a triangular love story will start between the lead actress, actor and me. This is a cameo appearance but relatively a longer one. I am starting the shoot tonight.” Along with the Chhavi Mittal, Saillesh Gulabani and Puneet Sachdeva, a female character who will essay the role of the Cat woman will also be introduced in the show.
