Time and again our television producers have lifted tracks from popular movies to garner viewer’s interest. According to our sources, the producers of Zee’s Chhoti Bahu, Deeya and Tony Singh will now emulate Rajshri’s hit movie Vivaah on the small screen. In the upcoming track, Radhika aka Chhoti Bahu (Rubina Dilaik) who is happily engrossed in the pre-wedding celebrations and weaving the dreams of a happy married life, will have to face a major setback in her life. The lady will get burned on the show mysteriously. Informs a source, “This track is inspired from the Amrita Rao and Shahid Kapoor starrer Vivaah. Just as Amrita gets burnt in the movie, Radhika too will meet with the same gruesome accident in her life just before her wedding. But like a true prince charming, Dev Purohit (Avinash Sachdev) will stick to her sweetheart in her hour of crisis. Despite knowing that Radhika has sustained burns, he marries Radhika. The three ladies of the house Mrinalini Purohit (Kirti Kelkar), Amma (Gopi Desai) and Vishakha (Priyanka Mishra) are not happy with the new development in Radhika’s life and are secretly plotting against her. The three ladies are also not happy with Dev transferring his entire property under Radhika’s name. Apparently, one is hearing that Radhika will get burned in her wedding mandap.” When contacted, actor Avinash Sachdev aka Dev, refused to comment. Rather he asked us watch the show to know what’s in the store. Lets see if this inspirational track manages to repeat the success of the film. Producer Tony Singh did not revert to our message.
