When your birthday coincides with a professional milestone it becomes all the more special. Veteran TV actor Sooraj Thapar (who is currently a part of Bani - Ishq Da Kalma) has completed 25 years in the TV industry on his birthday today (15 July 2013). He had lunch with his family and will have dinner with his friends in the evening. On this blessed day, the actor is pondering, “It’s of great joy to portray someone else. This quarter century in my acting career has been an amazing experience.” The actor will open his gifts later in the day. He told us, “I am excitedly anticipating what kind of gifts I may have got. I do wish that somebody has gifted me a movie player which I can carry around with me, so that I can watch films on the set. If nobody gives me that I will gift myself one.” His dear wife Deepti Dhyani is making this lovely day extra-special. The actor said, “My wife is such a sweetheart and is so pretty. After she came into my life, my birthdays seem much nicer.” His birthday wish is that he gets great roles and is healthy and happy. Going down memory lane, he has fond memories of his childhood birthdays which were celebrated simply by cutting cakes, eating delicious halwas and by visiting the temple. Today actor Gaurav Chanana also celebrates his birthday. He was a part of shows like Sanjivani, Yehi to Hai Woh and Rishton ki Dor. Recently he was seen in the movie Ishkq in Paris.
