Of all the 365 days in a year, our birthday is our favourite day. After all it was on this day that we made our presence felt in this world. When a popular TV star celebrates his/her birthday, several of his/her ardent fans also join in the celebrations. Today is a happy day for the fans of Giaa Maanek (currently in Jeannie Aur Juju), Mohit Keswani, Prabhjeet Kaur (from Amita ka Amit) and Ira Soni (of Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi) as these personalities celebrate their respective birthdays (18 February, 2013). Mohit and Prabhjeet are having a working birthday. Shares Mohit, “My colleagues got cakes and goodies for me. My father sent a box of my favourite sweets from Lucknow while my mom gifted me a golden chain and my sister gave me a laptop. This evening, I will be going for dinner with my friends who have also planned a surprise for me. I am indeed heartened to find my phone ringing incessantly as I am being wished by both people whom I know and don’t.” Prabhjeet’s colleagues also got her a delicious cake. In fact her co-stars from Amita ka Amit came all over to her house last night to surprise her. But unfortunately, she has been busy shooting throughout her birthday. Giaa was fortunate enough to get an off today as her shoot got cancelled because of a script problem. At midnight yesterday, her friends came over to her house to join in the celebration. Rucha Hasabnis and Vishal Singh from Saath Nibhana Saathiya came calling in the afternoon. The petite and pretty actress received watches, a dress, a TV set, a teddy bear, flowers and diamond earrings (from her parents) as gifts. However the most expensive gift was the one she bought for herself- a brand new house which is located in the street between Oberoi Mall and Inorbit Mall, Mumbai. We tried contacting Ira but were unable to get through. Here’s wishing all these actors a day filled with fun, laughter and mirth. May the Almighty pour his blessings on them on this special day.
