#RakhiSpecial: Bengali TV's 'popular' sibling jodis

Ishti Kutum bodhuboron
He will scold you when you are wrong; he will fight with you over maa ke haath ka best khana; he will keep a tab on you when you are about to start dating; he will play pranks on you whenever he feels like and yet he is immensely protective about you. And he is none other than your brother who will try to save every single penny so that he can buy you the best gift on this special occasion. Well, we are talking about Raksha Bandhan... It is a festival that marks the bond between a brother and a sister. No matter how much the siblings have fought with each other the previous day, they will forget every single fight on this festival. Television serials too have dedicated their space to showcase the varied layers of emotional bonding between siblings. One such example of fictional brother-sister combination is of Satyaki Chowdhury and Oli Chowdhury in the serial 'Bodhuboron' presented by Acropolice Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Here the brother is immensely protective about his sister. They go through various ups and downs of life but remain each other's strength throughout their journeys. Another combination is of Archishman Mukherjee and Mithai in Ishti Kutum presented by Magic Moments Motion Pictures. Their relationship is also a strong one but right now (as per the story) Archishman is upset with his sister as she has gone against her family to marry a man who is settled in a village. To add more tension, she is going through a rough patch. We understand this brother's worry and hope that Mithai will overcome all her problems and their relationship soon will be joyful like before.
