Smriti Mohan and Tarun Khanna who recently got married, after a lot of ifs and buts, seem to be happy these days. In fact, Smriti is of late on a high because she’d be celebrating her first Karva Chauth today (2 November). “Yes, though I have observed Karva Chauth on TV, this is my first time in real life after marriage”, says Smriti. Unfortunately, her better half won’t be around her as she avers, “He is busy shooting for his Punjabi film with Pooja Kive in Punjab. And today, while I am fasting, he is busy shooting for an item number with Rakhi Sawant (laughs).” Since this is Smriti’s first Karva Chauth, she will be celebrating it at a friend’s place as she remarks, “I want everything to be done according to the rituals and since my friend has been married for a couple of years, she’d be the right one able to help me.” Ask her about the preparations and she promptly quips, “I have put mehendi and I’d be wearing a sari. That’s it for now.”
