Popular television actress Aishwarya Sakhuja aka Toasty from Saas Bina Sasural will soon be seen in a hot and sexy avatar of a teacher in upcoming Marathi film Janiva. The film Janiva is being produced by her co-star and dear friend, Srman Jain. Aishwarya and Srman had worked for the same daily soap together earlier and ever since then their friendship has grown bigger and stronger. Talking about Aishwarya, an excited Srman says, “It was quite a task to get Aishwarya’s dates for the shoot since her calendar is jam packed. It was really sweet of her to manage doing this for me. Elaborating on her character, Srman says, “Aishwarya’s character is that of a hot and sexy teacher in the film and the way she has carried herself in the saree, she was looking no less than Sushmita Sen from Main Hoon Na” Aishwarya on her part says, “Ever since Srman told me about the role, I really wanted to do it but it got delayed by few days due to some date issues. Thankfully, I am finally doing it and it is a great feeling. Working with Srman was always awesome and this role of mine of a teacher will be special to me as it is for the first time I’ll be playing a bold character and it is more special because it is for Srman.” Janiva is a youth centric Marathi movie with a strong social message starring Satya Manjrekar in the lead. The movie also stars newcomers Vaibhavi Sandilya, Anuradha Mukharjee, Devdutt Dani and Sanket Agarwal along with established actors like Renuka Shahane, Kiran Karmarkar, Usha Nadkarni. Compelling, profound and complex, Janiva is a contemporary story of a teenager Sameer Deshpande played by Satya Manjrekar who is a progressive-thinking, creative, tech-savvy, yet socially responsible individual and also upholds age-old values like honesty, integrity and uprightness.
