A fter reality checks the new trend of mytho shows on almost all channels is catching up. Sahara One and Swastik Pictures have now joined forces to launch a mythological serial called Mata Ki Chauki. “Yes, we are coming up with a new mytho show but it’s just too early to spill the beans. I can’t reveal many things about the show,” says Siddharth Tiwari of Swastik Production whose last on air serial was Amber Dhara. The serial will focus on Maa Vaishno Devi. Isn’t it on similar lines as Maa Vaishno Devi launched by 9X? “Not at all, my new show is more on current narrations than being just a mytho. The story focuses on a girl who is a great devotee of Maa Vaishno Devi and her journey through life. There will be only 3 to 4 minutes of religious scenes in the serial. The show on 9X is totally different,” he avers The channel and the production house are searching for a new face for the lead. “Though the shoot has already started but we are yet to find the face of the show. I’m looking for a new and fresh face,” he states. Jay Pathak will be playing the male lead in the show. Sudesh Berry and Mona Ambegoankar will also been seen in the serial.
