Known Gujarati theatre actor Sachin Parikh is entering Kaali–Ek Agnipariksha as a politician. Sachin’s entry this week promises a new twist. A source says, “Anu and her gang are trying hard to search evidence against Thakral so that they can make the police arrest him for killing Rachna. But day by day Thakral is targeting everyone who is supporting Anu, though she has refused to back out of this battle. Later Anu meets Adarsh Bose played by Sachin Parikh. Anu and her friends approach him to help them out in trapping Thakral. He listens to Rachna’s entire story and decides to support Anu in her fight for justice. Adarsh is an idealistic youth politician; it is a very powerful character. We were looking for an actor who can look 30 and at the same time carry off this character with flair. Since Sachin belongs to theatre, he was a perfect choice for this role. With help from Adarsh, Anu will succeed in her plan and manage to crush Thakral.” Anuj Thakur who plays Mohit in the show could not confirm this as he was shooting for his new show in Jaipur. Sachin has done many plays and few movies in the past; his last show was Jahan Pe Ho Basera on Star Plus.
