Oprah Winfrey has landed in India to meet the spiritual leader, Deepak Chopra for her next show titled ‘Next Chapter’. And her entry was a grand one with most of the celebrities making it to the party organized by Parmeshwar Godrej on 16 January 2012 in the lady’s honour. And though the party saw the likes of many famous personalities, our dear TV actors didn’t get a chance to meet the host of one of the most famous talk show, The Oprah Winfrey show. So, Tellychakkar.com thought of asking these TV stars what they would want to do when they get a chance to meet Oprah Winfrey. Shilpa Tulaskar, who plays Jijabai on Colors’ Veer Shivaji, thinks Oprah is simply fantastic, “I think she is superb on her show and is also simply beautiful. She knows the tact of removing the facts out of people with such ease. She does not mind interviewing people from different walks of life in spite of being so much bigger than them.” In fact, she would also like to ask her something, “I’d ask her why she hasn’t got into acting when she looks so pretty on-screen,” smiles Shilpa. Ajay Chaudhary better known as Abhay of Colors’ Phulwa, on the other hand, is very upset with the fact that nobody has taken an initiative to introduce him to Oprah. “Every time an international celebrity comes to India people just forget to introduce me to them (laughs). But talking about Oprah I think she is simply amazing and I completely look up to her for the motivation and inspiration. I would like to know how she feels being on that level of success and fame?” We are sure Oprah would like to answer that question for you Ajay. Sara Khan too is sad on not being able to meet Oprah as Sara is in London: “I wanted to meet her as I have grown up watching her. She started with nothing but has everything in the world today.” Though she will not be able to meet Oprah, she has a question for her, “I would like to know that one thought which changed her life. I’d like to know what was going on in her mind at that time which helped her achieve the success that she has.” Moving on, there is somebody in the industry who thinks that the lady with black hair is no less than a modern day Santa Claus as she keeps gifting her show audience expensive gifts. Siddhant Karnick, who was last seen in Star One’s Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani, is fascinated by all those expensive gifts that Oprah presents on her show. “I think she is the most powerful and influential lady in the world in fact I’d like to invite her home to have dal chawal. I would also like to go on a date with her,” reveals Siddhant. How thoughtful!! Ravi Dubey aka Tej of Sony TV’s Saas Bina Sasural, is amazed that another international celebrity has flown down to India: “It’s good to see international stars visiting India very often, these days. This clearly shows that our country is growing with every passing day.” If Ravi does get a chance to meet Oprah, he would like to know how she solves her own problems. “I would ask her how she copes up with the issues of her life. As she is human like any of us hence she is bound to have her own issues. I’d like to know how she moves out of them,” beams Ravi. (Do we see an Oprah in the making?)
