Ace comedian Vinay Pathak is celebrating his birthday today (27 July) Tellychakkar.com got in touch with the actor to know about his plans for the day. “I have a play tonight titled Nothing Like Lear based on Shakespeare’s King Lear at the Prithvi Theatre. I will be rehearsing all day long and will perform tonight. No plans for the day as such, work gives me immense happiness. I was rehearsing last evening too. Understandably, didn’t get much time to pan for my birthday celebration.” Vinay continued, “My family and friends will come to watch the play after which we have planned to go out for dinner when my daughter will cut the cake. I, for one, don’t believe in grand birthday celebrations.” On the other hand Mandar Chandwadkar, who is seen in Neela Telefilms’ Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah on SAB TV essaying the role of Aatamaram Tukaram Bhide, is also celebrating his birthday today. “I always like to celebrate my birthday but today, I am shooting. It’s good habit to work on one’s own birthday. I didn’t cut any cakes last night. Probably on the sets there will be the cake cutting ritual. Today, after the shoot I will go out for dinner with my friends. As for gifts are concerned, my wife gifted me tiffin box while my son gave me a birthday card.” We wish both these actors a very happy and joyful birthday!!! PS- We have just learned that Mandar’s wife gave him a surprise by getting him a cake on the sets of Taarak Mehta. Producer Asit Modi also join in.
