Abhinav Shukla’s Nautanki Films will soon be back in action after their tremendous success story with Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors. 

They are now working on a new concept based on the education system of today, wherein the money-making educationalists come up with scheming ideas to kill the more rooted and conventional educational institutions wherein imparting knowledge is the main criteria. 

Titled ‘Hum Tum’, the story will deal with the tussle that a money-making educational institution will have against a normal college. 

The maker has finalized the main cast. Ankita Bhargava who was last seen in Ekk Nayi Pehchaan has been roped in to play the female protagonist. Though the male lead has not been finalized yet, there are high chances of handsome hunk Chaitanya Chaudhary being roped in. 

Seasoned actors Amit Behl and Deepak Qazir will play pivotal parts, and will appear in never-seen-before roles. 

A reliable source says, “Abhinav Shukla’s team is shooting for the show’s pilot in the first week of the New Year. The show has been commissioned for Doordarshan, but there is also a chance of the maker pitching it for a major GEC.”

When contacted, Ankita refused to comment. 

Amit Behl who is presently seen in Doordarshan’s Prakriti and also in Channel V’s Friends – Conditions Apply said, “Yes, I will be playing a very different role, that of a rich businessman/educationalist.”

Our efforts to reach out to Chaitanya and Deepak Qazir were futile. 

We tried calling Producer Abhinav Shukla to get more details on the show, but he chose not to respond.
