Bejoy Nambiar is back in news. A little after a year when his film David (co-producer and director) released on 1 February, 2013, Bejoy returns to the silver screen not as a director but as a co-producer. He has teamed up with UTV Spotboys to make a film titled Pizza that is said to be a Hindi remake of a namesake Tamil film. However, Bejoy isn't helming the project; this time around the film will have the Akshay Akkineni, who had earlier written and directed a short titled Idos, calling the shots. With this film Bejoy has explored the darker side of affairs with Pizza that is being marketed as a 'Hot and Haunted' offering, courtesy its dramatic-cum-fearful narrative. The fast paced thriller tells the tale of a pizza delivery boy whose mundane life takes a horrifying turn when he is sent to make a delivery at the home of a family with a dark secret. There he finds himself in the midst of all around evil surroundings where death is closer than it appears. The cast of the film comprises of Akshay Oberoi, who returns to the big screen in an altogether different avatar after playing a chocolate boy hero in Rajshri's Isi Life Mein as the main protagonist. Other actors Dipannita Sharma, best remembered as Raina Parulekar, one of the four ladies in Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl opposite Ranveer Singh, while Parvathy Omanakuttan, Miss India 2008 and first runner-up at Miss World 2008, debuts with the film, Arunoday Singh has an important part to play as well. Touted as a supernatural thriller with a delicious twist the film is expected to release all over the country this summer.
